The Midwest Crop Tour concluded with scouts finding unexpected consistency in Iowa and very strong corn in Minnesota.
The eastern leg traveled from Iowa City towards Rochester, with western participants meeting up in southeast Minnesota after starting Thursday in northwest Iowa.
The official results for Iowa showed averaged corn yields slightly below 180 bushels per acre, noting more consistent ear counts, grain length and overall plant health compared to previous states on the tour.
