Soybeans at midday are modestly lower on profit taking and technical selling. Crop weather’s been generally good this month in many key growing areas and the trade does expect a big crop. China bought 132,000 tons of new crop U.S. beans and Thailand picked up 105,500 tons of new crop bean meal. China made a lot of new crop soybean purchases this week, offsetting some of the impact of a recent big cancellation of old crop.
