A livestock market economist says there’s still a strong demand for high-quality beef and producers can use that opportunity to manage risk – and add profitability by using better genetics.
The livestock market is extremely volatile right now, but University of Missouri’s Scott Brown says the demand for high-quality beef continues to rise. He tells Brownfield it gives producers an opportunity to manage risk with tools they’re more comfortable using.
