All in all, it was another good week for Nebraska’s crops.
Temperatures were average for mid-August and significant rainfall of an inch or more was received across most the state, although some central counties received up to six inches or more.
Corn rated 63 percent good to excellent and 24 percent fair. Soybeans rated 61 percent good to excellent and 28 percent fair. Alfalfa condition rated 50 percent good to excellent.
