South Korea has lifted its import ban on US poultry and eggs. According to the American Egg Board and the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) the South Korean market is once again open for US table eggs and processed egg products for eggs hatched on or after August 16.
Anne Alonzo with the American Egg Board and USAPEEC (you-sah-peak) president Jim Sumner say they are pleased with the advancement and US egg farmers are ready to again supply South Korean consumers with a reliable and nutritious supply of US eggs.
