Direct cash cattle trade is quiet this morning with action limited to the distribution of new showlists. This week’s trade will likely follow last week’s suit and be postponed until Wednesday – or later. Southern live deals were at mostly $115 compared to the previous week where bids were $1 to $2 lower in Kansas and $2.50 to $3.00 lower in Texas. The majority of Northern dressed trade last week was at $185 and $2.00 to $3.00 lower basis in Nebraska.
