For the 50th and final time, the Indiana Quarter Horse Association honored a deserving 4-H horse and pony member with the IQHA 4-H Horse Award.
Ginny Tauer, a former award recipient who now runs the program, says the award opens doors for 4-H members.
“A lot of these kids that show at the 4-H level don’t have a registered horse or they need a nicer horse and that’s expensive,” she says.
