ASA president – bringing all to table in dicamba issue
The president of the American Soybean Association, Illinois farmer Ron Moore, says the ASA is invested in bringing all parties together to find answers and solutions to dicamba-related damage to soybean crops.
Moore released a statement last night saying the association is in “constant contact” with the companies selling dicamba-based products and is working alongside state departments of agriculture and land-grant universities as they investigate.
Moore says the ASA is also coordinating with the United Soybean Board and state check-offs to “draw on data generated by their research into crop damage.”
Moore says there are more questions and answers if it is determined dicamba spray is the root cause of the damage.
