Perdue embarks on “Back to Our Roots” tour

Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue is taking a five-state tour in an RV to talk to stakeholders about the upcoming 2018 five-year Farm Bill and “increasing rural prosperity.” Perdue’s “Back to Our Roots” Tour starts at the Wisconsin state fair Thursday then goes through Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, and then, Indiana on Tuesday. There will be farm bill listening sessions and discussions in every state. Brownfield Ag News will have coverage from each state.
