Federal disaster assistance is now available in central Michigan after historic flooding in mid-June.
Areas receiving support include Bay, Isabella, Gladwin and Midland Counties and the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe within Isabella County.
The U.S. Small Business Administration has also made low-interest disaster loans available to residents and businesses within the coverage area.
Early estimates calculate damages near $100 million in the region with rural infrastructure taking the brunt of the devastation.
