Class III milk futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were down on profit taking after the recent gains. August was down $.24 at $16.49, September was $.41 lower at $17.07, October was down $.30 at $17.23, and November as $.27 lower at $17.16.
Cash cheese blocks were $.0475 lower at $1.74. One load was sold at $1.74. The last uncovered offer was for one load at $1.7475. Barrels were down $.07 at $1.59.
