Direct cash cattle trade is quiet with just a few bids noted in parts of Nebraska and Texas. Asking prices are hanging around $118-$120 live in the South and $188-$190 dressed in the North which are $2 to $3 above reported bids.
This week’s offering at the Fed Cattle Exchange was light with just over 1,000 head, 54 head sold with a weighted average of $116 down $1.68 from last week.
