Soybeans were lower on speculative and technical selling. Forecasts for most of the Midwest and Plains this week have moderate temperatures and at least some rainfall. That should help ease some recent concerns as the crop moves into key development phases. The USDA says 59% of U.S. beans are in good to excellent shape, up 2% on the week. 82% are blooming and 48% are at the pod setting stage, both faster than average.
