A new web-based crop modeling solution unveiled at the InfoAg Conference is St. Louis helps with in-season decisions concerning inputs such as nitrogen, water and potassium. Joel Wipperfurth of WinField United describes the R7 Field Forecasting Tool as a forward-looking perspective that considers Answer Plot data as well as plant tissue samples. Wipperfurth, the company’s Ag Technology Applications Lead, tells Brownfield farmers use a tool like this to delay input decisions until they get a better assessment of what their opportunity is for return on investment.
