This week’s crop progress report shows a slight improvement in Nebraska’s overall corn condition rating, with 61 percent of the crop rated good to excellent. Soybeans are rated 60 percent good to excellent this week.
The third cutting of alfalfa was 48 percent complete with the crop rated 48 percent good to excellent. Pasture and range conditions were called 29 percent good to excellent.
Significant rainfall of an inch or more was received across most the state last week.
