Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue tells reporters he’s gotten no confirmation from Mexico’s ag secretary about speculation that Mexico plans to buy corn and soybeans from South America because of political tensions with the U.S., “I did not get any indication that they are considering that.”
Perdue told reporters this morning from the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico that the competitiveness of US grain and bean growers and the logistics of rail and water continue to give the U.S.
