President Trump’s rural task force has three more months to develop its plan for rural prosperity.
“We’ve got technology issues, we’ve got infrastructure issues, we’ve got health issues—all of that. I think he saw the USDA and the Secretary of Agriculture as the one to bring these agencies together.”
Led by U.S. Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue, the Interagency Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity met for the second time this week to discuss efforts to reduce regulatory barriers, create rural jobs and improve infrastructure.
