A newly elected member of the NCGA board of directors says the weather has been a big topic at Corn Congress in Washington, DC.

Gary Porter is president of the Missouri Corn Growers Association, “Boy, you can’t believe the stories you’re hearing. You’ll hear one person where they’re getting plenty of rain, it’s actually TOO wet. You’ll take to another farmer that’s not very far away from him and he’s on the edge on the drought.
