Former U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns is the new Chairman of Agriculture for tax consulting company alliantgroup.
“Basically what that means is I’m going to work with alliantgroup to do everything we can to make sure that agriculture from large to small does qualify for the tax credits that are already available to them, already on the books,” Johanns told Brownfield Ag News.
Johanns tells Brownfield it’ll be his job to consult with agriculture cooperatives and all sizes of farmers who may qualify for research and development tax credits because of investments in agriculture technology.
