President Trump has nominated Stephen Censky to be the next Deputy Secretary of Agriculture at the USDA. Censky has served as the CEO of the American Soybean Association (ASA) since 1996.
Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue says he’s pleased with the nomination. He says Censky’s experience and leadership skills will enhance the efforts of the USDA.
ASA president and Illinois farmer Ron Moore says Censky is the perfect fit for the role and he has proven himself as an “effective, dedicated, and visionary voice on behalf of soybean farmers.”
Prior to his tenure at ASA, Censky served at the USDA under both Presidents Reagan and George H.W.
