The CEO of the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) says recent partnerships between the Non-GMO Project and certain food companies motivated him to speak out against what he calls fake news.

Randy Krotz tells Brownfield, without naming specific brands, he views some of the latest partners of the Non-GMO Project as a little closer to the agricultural family.

“I’m just concerned that we don’t fully understand what the impact is when we share information through an organization like (the Non-GMO Project).
