The USDA has increased its 2017 production outlooks for U.S. corn, soybeans, and winter wheat.
USDA raised its corn outlook by nearly 200 million bushels to 14.255 billion because of bigger than expected acreage reported in late June, while beans were up 5 million bushels on the month at 4.260 billion, also on an acreage adjustment from last month. There were no changes to yield estimates. Weather in some key growing areas could bring those numbers down and the first field based production survey for corn and beans is in out in August.
