A Harlan, Iowa-based company, Iowa Agricultural Bio Fibers (IABF), produces Fiber Factor Feed from corn stover and other crop residues through a proprietary process invented by John Schechinger, president of IABF.
According to company literature, “Fiber Factor is the first and only animal feed product made using a patent-pending proprietary process which shatters the ligno-cellulosic bond in corn stover and similar plant materials to make the nutrients within bio-available to the gut.
