Dry conditions early in the week helped Ohio farmers make significant progress in winter wheat harvest. According to the latest weekly crop report 92 percent of the crop is mature and 39 percent has been harvested – a 29 percent jump from the previous week.
Corn and soybean crops are reported in mostly fair to good condition. Seed Consultants agronomist Mike Earley tells Brownfield it just depends on where the field is located.
