It was a late start to the planting season and for one Indiana farmer he says that trend has continued into the growing months.
Austin Woodward farms with his family about 30 miles north of Indianapolis and says they didn’t plant one seed until after the first major round of storms moved through. “That set us back a month,” he says. Woodward says the condition of the crops vary – depending on where he’s looking.
