Direct cash cattle markets are quiet, digesting Thursday’s light to moderate activity. Light live business in the South was primarily at $119, mostly $3 lower than last week, and moderate dressed trade in the North was mainly at $189 to $190, about $4 to $5 lower. Today’s business should be limited to clean-up. Asking prices are expected to be around $122 to $123 live and $192 to $193 dressed with a few bids at $119 on the live basis and $190 dressed.
