The winter wheat harvest is underway in Nebraska.
As of Sunday, eight percent of the wheat was harvested. The crop is rated 48 percent good to excellent and 36 percent fair.
Nebraska’s corn crop is rated 74 percent good to excellent, with soybeans rated 70 percent good to excellent.
The second cutting of alfalfa is 26 percent complete and crop is rated 65 percent good to excellent. Pasture and range condition rated 56 percent good to excellent.
