While spotty rain showers provided relief to some farmers in the state, much of Indiana’s corn and soybean crops continue to struggle.
According to the latest weekly crop report just 46 percent of corn was rated good to excellent. Ninety-five percent of the crop is emerged and 2 percent in silking.
Just 51 percent of soybeans are rated good to excellent and 90 percent of the crop is emerged and 2 percent blooming.
