Other than a few scattered bids that have been renewed cattle country is quiet on Thursday following yesterday’s light to moderate trade. Southern live business ranged from 121.00 to 123.00, mostly 122.00, $9.00 lower than the previous week. Northern dressed business ranged from 196.00 to 198.00, $9.00 to 10.00 lower than the previous week. More trade is expected today or tomorrow, especially in the North. Asking prices on cattle still on showlists are around 125.00 in the South, and 198.00 plus in the North.
