Ohio Ag Equipment has acquired Witmer’s Inc. in eastern Ohio.

After more than 80 years serving the region, the family-owned company says they didn’t plan to expand the single store equipment dealership and the Ohio Ag purchase was the best solution for customers and employees.

President of the company Nelson Witmer says they now plan to focus on growing their construction business.

The store in Salem will be Ohio Ag’s fifth dealership in the state and will offer area farmers more equipment brands and service options.
