Northwest Indiana farmer Alan Washburn says 2017 will be known for its variability. “I have neighbors that have replanted twice and say they will not replant a third time,” he says. “I’m fortunate that I didn’t have to replant anything. It all got into the ground and I finally got it all out of the ground. I have some underwater – but it is what it is. We have to deal with it.”
Looking ahead to the summer, he tells Brownfield he has one concern.
