Missouri’s winter wheat harvest is more than 50 percent complete as of Sunday, well ahead of the five year average. Nearly 70-percent of the crop is in good to excellent condition. Temperatures were five degrees above normal last week and rain was nearly an inch above normal, with almost two inches total statewide.
The USDA’s Missouri ag statistics office says the condition of corn is 84 percent fair to good. Soybean planting is 92 percent finished for the year and emergency is just over 80 percent.
