Private sources are reporting a few bids on the cattle in the South at 122.00 and some asking prices of around 125.00 to 127.00. The North remains very quiet at this time. The new showlists distributed on Monday were generally larger than last week, especially in Kansas and Nebraska.
Out front boxed beef sales, with 22 days or more of delivery last week totaled nearly 1,000 loads, the biggest order of that type since late May.
