The condition rating of Nebraska’s corn crop stayed the same this week, at 78 percent good to excellent, while the rating of the state’s soybean crops declined slightly to 72 percent good to excellent.
The winter wheat rating was also unchanged at 51 percent good to excellent and 36 percent fair.
Alfalfa condition rated 67 percent good to excellent with second cutting just getting underway. Pasture and range conditions were called 74 percent good to excellent, down five points from last week.
