North Dakota’s Ag Commissioner is reaching out to other states for drought assistance. Doug Goehring reached out to his counterparts Thursday, asking to spread the word about his state’s need for feed.
A hotline allows callers to report what they can provide whether it’s hay to sell, hay land to rent, or time and equipment to move hay. Goehring said many producers are also looking for farmers out of state who can dry lot or pasture their cattle.
