Private sources are reporting a few bids on the cattle in Kansas and Texas at 128.00 on Thursday, but the rest of cattle country is slow to start. A very thin test was reported in parts of Nebraska yesterday at 128.00 to 130.00 live and 205.00 to 210.00 dressed. Packer inquiry could improve over the next several hours. Asking prices are around 132.00 in the South, and 212 to 213.00 in the North.
