A precision ag expert says farmers should not be worried about being replaced by new technologies.
Ray Asebedo says Artificial Intelligence, which is increasingly being integrated into data collection systems, should not be feared, “A/I systems are not intended, at least in my viewpoint and what we’re doing for development at KSU, is not intended to replace the farmer. All right? It’s there to be a tool to ASSIST them.”
Asebedo says in developing A/I systems, they are keeping the culture of agriculture top of mind, “I’m from Kansas.
