The USDA reports corn and soybean export inspections were more than what’s needed to meet USDA projections for the 2016/17 marketing year.
Wheat came out at 773,992 tons, up 294,684 from the week ending June 1st and 366,287 higher than the week ending June 9th, 2016. A little bit after the start of the 2017/18 marketing year, wheat inspections are 860,447 tons, compared to 621,155 early in 2016/17.
Corn was reported at 1,041,534 tons, down 135,573 from the previous week and 666,357 lower than this time last year.
