South Dakota State University Extension has created a way for livestock producers to find hay and forage sellers, through social media.

They’ve created a Facebook page for anyone who wants to buy or sell hay or feeds stuffs. Search for SDSU Extension Feed & Forage Finder.

The drought in South Dakota has made forage supplies tight and organizers of the page say it’s a low-cost way for farmers to find what they’re looking for.
