Nebraska’s corn crop rating remained strong last week, despite dry conditions and hotter-than-normal temperatures across most of the state.
The latest crop progress report rates the state’s corn crop 78 percent good to excellent. The first soybean rating of the season shows 74 percent of the crop in the good to excellent category.
Winter wheat condition rated 51 percent good to excellent and 36 percent fair. Alfalfa condition rated 74 percent good to excellent and pasture and range conditions 79 percent good to excellent.
