Members of a Kansas farmer cooperative, Farmway Co-op, have approved a merger with York, Nebraska-based Central Valley Ag (CVA) co-op. Ninety-one percent of Farmway’s members voted for the merger.
The combined co-ops will retain the Central Valley Ag name and be headquartered in York. The organization will be led by CVA president/CEO Carl Dickinson.
The USDA ranked CVA as the 20th largest co-op in the U.S. in 2015 and Farmway as the 68th largest.
