A light cattle trade was reported in parts of the North on Friday afternoon with live deals at 136.00 to 137.00. In Iowa a few deals have been reported at 137.00 live and 220.00 dressed with two to three week delivery dates. But as of late afternoon only a few scattered bids had been reported in the South from 134.00 to 136.00 where asking prices remained from 140.00 to 142.00. Northern dressed bids have been backed down to 215.00 to 216.00, while asking prices are at 220.00.
