Is that celery red? What might look like a red celery stalk is actually rhubarb and even though many Americans eat is as a fruit, rhubarb is considered a vegetable. In season in the Midwest from April through June, rhubarb is a perennial plant that can come back year after year for more than 20 years in the garden.
