The USDA reports combined old and new crop corn and soybean export sales for the week ending June 1st were within pre-report estimates. The 2016/17 marketing year for corn, soybeans, and sorghum runs through the end of August. Physical shipments of corn were more than what’s needed weekly to meet USDA projections.
2017/18 wheat export sales were 461,000 tons (16.9 million bushels). Unknown destinations purchased 147,200 tons and Peru bought 78,500 tons.
