Conaway recognizes work of mill destroyed by explosion, fire
The Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee acknowledged the importance of a Wisconsin corn mill destroyed by an explosion and fire. Mike Conaway of Texas started Wednesday’s hearing on international food aid programs, proposed food aid cuts and ag development in the next farm bill by praising the work of Didion Milling in Cambria, Wisconsin. Conaway said, “I want to extend our condolences to our friends at Didion Milling. John Didion testified before the committee in September of 2015 about the important work they are doing in milling grain into specially-designed food aid products.”
The May 31st explosion claimed four lives and injured nearly a dozen more people.
