Corn yields still project above trend-line

A well-known climatologist says this year’s corn crop still projects above trend-line yield.
Dr. Elwynn Taylor with Iowa State University tells Brownfield most of the Midwest is moving out of a wet weather pattern.
“Right now we still anticipate, with what we can foresee, is that we will be about a bushel or two above the trend for U.S. corn yield. It’s too early to talk about soybeans at all.
