Dry weather gave Ohio farmers an opportunity to get some planting done last week. According to the latest weekly crop and weather report 91 percent of the corn crop has been planted, with 79 percent emerged with the majority of the crop rated fair to good.
Central Ohio farmer Allen Ett says some of his crops look great – but that’s not the cased for all his acres. “Those crops that were planted the 24, 25, and 26 of April really struggled coming out of the ground,” he says.
