The Indiana corn crop continues to struggle. According to the latest weekly crop and weather report just 46 percent of the crop is rated good to excellent. Ninety-one percent of the crop is planted and 74 percent is emerged.
After Mother Nature forced Jasper County farmer Dave Rodibaugh out the field for a total of 27 days, he finally finished planting corn last week. “Most of our early corn went in April 23 to the 26,” he says.
