Minnesota farmers are dealing with significant weed pressure this spring.
Joe Sullivan farms in the south-central part of the state.
“We are seeing quite a bit of weed pressure. We do use (pre-emergent herbicide) with everything. (also) tillage around some of the edges to try and get (weeds) out as much as you can.”
The Renville County corn and soybean grower has finished planting and says he’s scouting for weed escapes.
