With the exception of a few cattle trading in Nebraska on Friday afternoon the trade appears to be done for the week. Cattle on a dressed basis in Nebraska at 216.00, and live at 137.50, both steady with yesterday’s trade. Asking prices on cattle left on the showlists are around 130.00 plus in the South, and 218.00 plus in the North. The weekly kill was estimated at 550,000 head 63,000 less than the previous week, but 23,000 more than 2016.
